Empowering Cancer Survivors
CANSA Relay For Life is a moving celebration of cancer Survivorship. Survivors from your community are invited to attend the CANSA Relay For Life event as VIP’s, where they are celebrated and honoured through special ceremonies and activities.
Survivors are welcomed and acknowledged through the opening Survivors’ Lap to start off the Relay. Cancer Survivors are often guest speakers at CANSA Relay For Life events and share their stories of hope and inspire those beginning their journey with cancer, earning them recognition and respect from their community.
CANSA Relay For Life offers newly diagnosed survivors the opportunity to meet and interact with other cancer survivors who have beaten cancer and it also gives patients who are undergoing treatment the chance to share experiences with other patients.
History shows the more Survivors involved in an event or in the teams, the more successful the event will be. Cancer survivors inspire hope, courage and determination to fight and eliminate cancer.
